To turn off government alerts on your iPhone go into the Settings app then into Notifications Scroll to the bottom and youll see the three types of government alerts AMBER Alerts Emergency Alerts and Public Safety Alerts All of these are on by default. Go to Settings Notifications. Remember to turn your alerts back on as soon as possible.
Government Alerts are supported when using a SIM card from a supported carrier.
